This painting is about travelling beyond Earth and imagining who or what might be out there.

The unusual colours, faces and shapes create a strange world that feels both mysterious and playful. Some figures look almost human, while others seem to come from somewhere completely unknown.

There is no clear story. The painting is more about curiosity and the idea that the universe may hold things we cannot yet understand.

To me, The People You Meet When You Are Not on This Planet is about imagination, mystery and the endless possibilities beyond our own world.

• Dimensions: 60cm x 44cm
• Printed on high-quality 100% cotton canvas using archival pigment inks, then finished with four protective coats of art varnish. Each canvas is professionally stretched over kiln-dried plantation pine stretcher bars and supplied ready to hang, complete with hanging fittings, brown framer’s tape and felt bumpons on the back.
• The original artwork was created using acrylic and ink on canvas. The exceptional print quality preserves the depth, texture and detail of the original, making it beautifully difficult to distinguish between the print and the original artwork.
