This painting is about the colour, growth and peaceful feeling of a herb garden.

Different shades of green move through the work, mixed with earthy browns and soft purples. The shapes overlap like leaves, stems and plants growing together.

There is a sense of life and abundance, with small details appearing the longer you look.

To me, The Herb Garden is about enjoying the simple beauty of nature and the calm that can be found in a garden.

• Printed on high-quality 100% cotton canvas using archival pigment inks, then finished with four protective coats of art varnish. Each canvas is professionally stretched over kiln-dried plantation pine stretcher bars and supplied ready to hang, complete with hanging fittings, brown framer’s tape and felt bumpons on the back.
• The original artwork was created using acrylic and ink on canvas. The exceptional print quality preserves the depth, texture and detail of the original, making it beautifully difficult to distinguish between the print and the original artwork.
