This painting is made up of small moments from an ordinary day.

The changing colours reflect different moods, from the brightness of morning to the quietness of night. Shapes, faces and patterns overlap, just as thoughts, feelings and events often do throughout the day.

There is no single story in the painting. Each part is like a brief memory or passing moment that may mean something different to each person.

To me, Snapshots of the Day is about how quickly life moves and how many different emotions and experiences can exist within one day.
