This painting is about living between two worlds - the busy city and the freedom of nature.

The city sits in the distance, dark and crowded, while the land around it is full of colour, strange characters, pathways and hidden places. It feels like a world where people can live differently and let their imagination grow.

Nature moves through the buildings and the landscape, bringing everything together. The more you look, the more small stories and details begin to appear.

To me, Living on the Outskirts of the City is about being close enough to see the modern world, but far enough away to still feel peaceful, creative and free.
