Jungle

Jungle is a celebration of the wild, untamed beauty of nature and the extraordinary life that exists within it.

The painting is alive with colour, movement and hidden detail. Layers of tropical leaves, twisting branches and vibrant foliage create a dense landscape where birds and other curious creatures emerge from amongst the greenery. Rich greens, burnt oranges, yellows, pinks and earthy reds weave together, giving the work a warmth and energy that feels almost alive.

At the centre, a collection of striking birds draws the eye, each with its own shape, pattern and personality. Some are immediately visible, while others seem to disappear into the surrounding vegetation. The boundaries between animal and plant life begin to blur, creating a world where everything feels interconnected.

Look closer and the jungle continues to reveal itself. Faces, eyes and unexpected forms appear between leaves and feathers, while intricate patterns and fine lines bring another layer of detail to the work. There is a sense that something is hiding everywhere, waiting to be discovered.

To me, Jungle is about the abundance and interconnectedness of the natural world. It captures the feeling of stepping into somewhere wild and discovering that what initially appears chaotic is actually an extraordinary ecosystem, filled with life, beauty and its own natural order.

• Dimensions: 140 × 80 cm
• Printed on high-quality 100% cotton canvas using archival pigment inks, then finished with four protective coats of art varnish. Each canvas is professionally stretched over kiln-dried plantation pine stretcher bars and supplied ready to hang, complete with hanging fittings, brown framer’s tape and felt bumpons on the back.
• The original artwork was created using acrylic and ink on canvas. The exceptional print quality preserves the depth, texture and intricate detail of the original, making it beautifully difficult to distinguish between the print and the original artwork.
