A Wonderful Life is a celebration of people, places and the colourful collection of moments that make up a life.

The painting is filled with an extraordinary cast of characters, animals, buildings and unexpected details, all woven together into one vibrant world. Bold greens, deep blues, warm oranges and flashes of pink create a sense of energy and movement, while the many faces invite you to stop, look closer and discover something new.

Throughout the piece, people appear to gather, travel, rest and simply exist alongside one another. Houses and towers rise between them, animals emerge from unexpected places and tiny scenes unfold within the larger story. There is a wonderful sense of organised chaos, much like life itself.

The longer you spend with A Wonderful Life, the more it reveals. A face you did not notice before, a small animal, an unusual expression or a hidden detail suddenly appears, making the painting feel as though it is constantly changing.

To me, A Wonderful Life is about embracing all the people, experiences, places and little moments that shape who we are. Life can be busy, imperfect, surprising and beautifully unpredictable, and somehow all of those individual pieces come together to create something wonderful.

• Dimensions: 120 × 90 cm
• Printed on high-quality 100% cotton canvas using archival pigment inks, then finished with four protective coats of art varnish. Each canvas is professionally stretched over kiln-dried plantation pine stretcher bars and supplied ready to hang, complete with hanging fittings, brown framer’s tape and felt bumpons on the back.
• The original artwork was created using acrylic and ink on canvas. The exceptional print quality preserves the depth, texture and detail of the original, making it beautifully difficult to distinguish between the print and the original artwork.
