A Shift From Chaos to Peace

This painting is about moving from confusion and noise toward a calmer state of mind.

The crowded faces, creatures and shapes represent thoughts, memories and emotions all competing for space. As the painting opens up, softer colours, birds, light and natural forms begin to appear.

There is still movement and detail, but a sense of peace slowly grows within it.

To me, A Shift From Chaos to Peace is about finding calm without needing everything around us to be perfect.

• Printed on high-quality 100% cotton canvas using archival pigment inks, then finished with four protective coats of art varnish. Each canvas is professionally stretched over kiln-dried plantation pine stretcher bars and supplied ready to hang, complete with hanging fittings, brown framer’s tape and felt bumpons on the back.
• The original artwork was created using acrylic and ink on canvas. The exceptional print quality preserves the depth, texture and detail of the original, making it beautifully difficult to distinguish between the print and the original artwork.
