A Dream Revisited

This painting is about returning to a dream that feels familiar, even if it cannot be fully understood.

Faces, figures, birds and small symbols appear throughout the work like pieces of memory. Some feel clear, while others seem to fade or change as you look at them.

The blues and greens create a dreamlike feeling, with flashes of red and yellow bringing moments of energy and emotion.

To me, A Dream Revisited is about old thoughts, memories and feelings returning in unexpected ways. It is not meant to tell one clear story, but to let each person find their own meaning within it.

• Dimensions: 105cm x 49cm
• Printed on high-quality 100% cotton canvas using archival pigment inks, then finished with four protective coats of art varnish. Each canvas is professionally stretched over kiln-dried plantation pine stretcher bars and supplied ready to hang, complete with hanging fittings, brown framer’s tape and felt bumpons on the back.
• The original artwork was created using acrylic and ink on canvas. The exceptional print quality preserves the depth, texture and detail of the original, making it beautifully difficult to distinguish between the print and the original artwork.
